It’s Time for 8th Grade IGP Meetings

Individual Graduation Plans (IGPs) provide 8th grade students and their parents an opportunity to take some initial steps into educational and career planning. All 8th grade students must complete an IGP. Topics of discussion include: the South Carolina Career Clusters; flowcharts for ELA, math, science, and social studies classes through grade twelve at Spartanburg High School; South Carolina high school diploma requirements; the South Carolina Uniform Grading Scale; scholarship planning; and the characteristics of successful students. Please click here to schedule a meeting with Dr. Courtney, 8th Grade Guidance Counselor, to complete an IGP. It should last approximately 30 minutes.
